Rationing Rationing was how soldiers recieved their food and needed goods when over seas. Because the soldiers needed so much food and resorces most of the people back in the states could not aford some things. Those goods would have extream prices and average Americans could not pay for them.

E-BondsE-Bods were the same thing as Liberty bonds and Defense bonds but went to differnt things for the military. They were still loans from the American people to the government. Eventually the government would be forced to pay those people back with a small intrest rate.

Political
Destroyers for Bases A policy set in place with the British Empire to trade old American battleships for small teritories and bases around the world. The deal was that we would supply Battleships and they would give us bases in the western hemisphere for 99 years.

Lend Leas Act An atempt by the U.S. government to help with WWII even though they claim nutrality. They lent/leased guns, weapons, and amunition the to British military to fight of the Germans. Although they claimed to 'Lend" these suplies and recieve payment in the future they would never be payed back and eventually joined to war to fight Germany.

Progress
After WWII people started to change things in sociaty and make life better for everyone. It focused on helping underprivilaged people and making all men and woman equal. With the help of ne leaders in the government America became one of the greatest places to live once again. Not all of the new ideas would turn out to work but some of them are still around today. This was true progress for America and worked to shange for the better.
